Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Zagorwood game for iOS (the "Game") uses and how. The Game is developed by Zagorwood.
Information we collect
The Game has no accounts. It does not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information. It sends nothing to our servers and uses no analytics.
Information that stays on your phone
Your progress in the Game (workshop, money, pieces, settings) is stored only on your phone. We never see it. You can erase it with "Restart the game" in Settings; deleting the Game from your phone erases everything.
On-device AI
Some lines of the master character are written by a language model that runs inside your phone. The model does not connect to the internet and what it writes never leaves your phone. If you choose an optional model in Settings, its file is downloaded from Hugging Face's servers; as with any download, those servers can see your IP address. This download only happens when you start it.
In-app purchases
Amber packs and the no-ads pack are sold through Apple's App Store. Apple takes the payment; we never see or store your payment details. Your purchases are verified on your phone with Apple's StoreKit.
Ads
The Game only has rewarded ads that you choose to watch. They are served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect information such as the advertising identifier, device information and approximate location. If your phone asks, whether to allow personalised ads is up to you. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom a consent screen appears before any ad. How Google uses information: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Players who bought the no-ads pack see no ads.
Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its date.
